After 10 years of 24-7 operation, the ductwork to 20 SCU’s had become battered and progressively loosing integrity. Compounded with increasing fan maintenance, the need for a new bespoke accessible installation while maintaining operations was paramount. We worked with the client’s maintenance contractor to establish their access needs for maintenance and designed a bespoke assembly that improved airflow by up to 300% - further reducing workload on the fans as well as noise and stress on the ductwork. This was a £700,000 CDM project carried out over 20 weeks.
